November 9, 2007, Newsletter Issue #70: When To Replace Motorcycle Leather Boots

Tip of the Week

With continued wear, motorcycle boots will start to look tattered. Motorcycle boots should be replaced when there are visible holes or tears in the boot.
Also, if the sole of the boot is detaching from the top, it's time for new boots. Your boot could fall apart if not in good condition and it best to replace you motorcycle boots before this happens, especially during a motorcycle ride. A general “rule of thumb” is anytime a pair of footwear starts to look old and battered, it should be replaced with a new pair.
